Dermal Wound Healing
Explora BioLabs offers rodent models for wound healing studies. These mouse and rat excisional dermal models are commonly used to assess dermal wound healing processes, including granulation, tissue deposition, re-epithelialization and angiogenesis.
Dermal wound healing studies can be perform in normal healthy animals, as well as in animals with impaired wound healing. Impaired would healing is often performed in diabetic animals, such as db/db mice. In addition, agents such as steriods can also delay the wound healing process.
