This facility is also located in the heart of the Torrey Pines biotech park area, near the Sanford-Burnham Institute, the Salk Institute and UC San Diego.  With 10 holding rooms and 6 dedicated procedure rooms, this vivarium is well suited for a diverse array of research activities.

Equipment includes pass-through automatic cage washer, pass-through autoclave, bottle filler, laminar flow.

This facility is licensed to handle research radioactive materials.  A gamma irradiator is also available onsite.
