Explora BioLabs is a San Diego-based contract research organization (CRO) that  provides preclinical in vivo contract research and rental vivarium services to the biotech, pharmaceutical and academic communities. 

Founded in 2004, Explora was established to serve the in vivo needs of drug discovery researchers.  Started as a modest operation with just 8 vivarium rooms and a facility space of 4000 square feet, Explora has grown to include 3 facilities with 45 vivarium rooms and a total facility space of 30,000 square feet.  

Over this time, Explora has served the research needs of more than 50 academic, biotech and pharmaceutical clients. Explora aims to help our clients accomplish their research and development goals efficiently and cost-effectively using our in-depth scientific knowledge, reliable experimental skills and excellent customer service.  As a company managed by scientists, for scientists, we look forward to continuously expanding our service expertise and facility quality to be the premier in vivo research service provider in the nation.
